TETHER POWERED DRONES – THE LASTING FLIGHT
Drones or UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) are a technological solution for numerous surveillance issues, steadily gaining momentum. While already a dominant tool for surveillance in defence and agriculture, drones are making their way into semi-urban and rural thresholds to serve prevalent issues in the sectors. A major concern, however, remains the durability of function owing to limited battery size allowed by UAV payload – a problem that ISPAGRO effectively addresses through tether powered drones.
Tether powered drones are an advanced version of UAVs accompanied by physical tethers such as flexible wires or cables that resolve the energy concern of drones. The tether attached to the drone is made of light weighing conductors that also control the wind drag and enable the drone a greater height. The wired system also makes these drones much easier to extract and retract. Thanks to the restricted flying area, these drones need not be incorporated with GPS trackers either.

Tethered drones are safer to use as well, owing to assurance against crashes occurring from human error. The wired system allows even moderately trained operators to easily manoeuvre these drones. They can be employed for agricultural surveillance to defence and event coverage with equal impact. The enhanced performance of tethered drones combined with longevity and uncompromised visual results make them an excellent area for investment.
